Our curriculum is designed to enable each child to enjoy and appreciate music in all its forms. We will encourage children to reach their full potential in music. We will provide opportunities to listen to a wide variety of musical genres and live, local musicians. Children will be encouraged to sing, compose and perform. We believe performing is an important part of music and therefore children will be given the opportunity to perform in front of an audience both within and outside of school. We are dedicated to showing children how music can bring people and communities together and be an outlet for emotions and expression. Throughout year we will look at the importance music plays in a variety of festivals.
